Installing Thunderbolts
-
Installation
The process is very straightforward. The deadbolt gets installed inside a door and strikes into the opposing door or pillar to prevent the door from opening. Our general installation video gives a great overview of the process.
-
Remote Controlled
There are two choices for operating the locks; they can operate from the factory key fobs by connecting them to the factory locks using the M1 lock kit models or from the Thunderbolt remote controller with the M2 lock kit model.

Lock Kits
Each lock kit includes all of the components to complete the installation. One Kit is required for each entryway you'd like to secure. Thunderbolts work on any van’s side sliding door, rear swing doors, or cab doors. They even work on box truck roll-up doors.
